There is a space most of us would rush through: the space of tension between the familiar and the optimal.
It’s the place where our self-image begins to crumble. The place where our patterns beg and pull us to repeat the well-worn programs of behavior. The place where we try to calm down somehow and quickly return to “normal,” to our baseline. Even if that baseline is only a holding pattern where we haven’t truly felt good in a long time.
Now imagine that you pause instead.
That you have enough resources to hold the tension of the space between the familiar and the optimal, between the old and the new.
This is where the magic lives!
Sarah Tacy is one of the few who can guide others into this space with gentleness, depth, humility, and profound wisdom.
For more than 20 years, Sarah has been a trusted leader in nervous system healing and somatic exploration – working with Olympians, entrepreneurs, creatives, and mothers to help them reclaim vitality, access the body’s intelligence, and create lives aligned with their most important personal values.
As a mother of two, Sarah herself has walked this path countless times – being moved out of her comfort zone and into deeper truth. Every time I am with her, I leave feeling more grounded and more myself. I am grateful to have met her!
That’s why I am so delighted to invite you to her free 3-day workshop, if you are someone who
carries a lot,
knows there must be another way,
wants to feel that beyond the rush there is a better solution,
then this experience may feel like taking a deep breath after holding it for far too long!
Something Sarah said to me recently has stayed with me deeply: “Opting out of urgency isn’t about slowing down forever – it’s about learning how to realize your biggest dreams without living in the cycle of depletion, recharge, and depletion again.”
Because here is the truth: ✨ It was never the point to trade your vitality for performance. ✨ It was never the point to prove your worth through exhaustion. ✨ It was never the point to push yourself so hard that you forget why you began.
This isn’t about giving up on your ambitions. It’s about reclaiming your body’s pace, your right to rest, and a form of strength that doesn’t require sacrificing your health.
We’ve already begun, but it’s not too late to join! The next session is on Thrusday 18th of September 2025, from 12:00-1:30pm EST On this day we’ll explore Sacred Thirding – discovering new possibilities beyond “either–or” thinking.
Doesn’t really matter where you start, start where you are, and the rest will come in right timing!
My dear friend and mentor Sarah Tacy is leading a free 3-day workshop starting today, September 16, 2025, from 12:00-1:30pm EST and I would be so happy if you joined us:
If you long for more in your life –
If urgency is running the show –
If you’re ready to choose true, sustainable self-leadership instead of constant overwhelm – This is your invitation.
This is not about abandoning what matters.
And this invitation comes from someone I trust deeply – not only because of her decades of experience guiding nervous system regeneration and somatic healing for former Olympians, entrepreneurs, and everyday people – but also because she lives this work.
She knows what it means to lead, to give birth, to build and to create from deep embodiment. And she is the kind of teacher who always reminds you that there is another way.
Today’s session: Day 1 – Where choice lives – Reclaiming space and pace between impulse and action.
You’ll discover what becomes possible when urgency quiets enough for you to feel your truth again.
This space is not about fixing ourselves! It’s about resourcing yourself. So you can move through your life with more choice, more grounding, and a fuller expression of who you are.
I hope to see you there!
(P.S. If you miss the live call, you’ll get access to the recording once you register!)
“It’s not just hard. It’s not just unknown. It feels as if everything would fall apart if I didn’t keep going.” – I often heard this inner voice in my head, until one day Sarah put into words this urgent feeling in a way I had never heard before:
“Slowing down feels like dying for many people. Because in a certain sense, it is. It’s the death of that version of you who believed that your success, your worth, and your survival depended on your relentless persistence.”
This is why I love learning, sharing, and reflecting with others who, like me, are seeking tangible ways to easily shift patterns we once thought were fixed.
And this is also why I want to share with you her free 3-day workshop, which will take place on September 16, 18, and 19, 2025, from
During these 3 days, you’ll have the chance to explore a simple method that can help you re-train yourself to balance intensity and rest – without losing your momentum or your personality. And to realize that your values can also thrive at your own rhythm.
The space Sarah creates has always been deeply nourishing for me, even in the digital realm!
Before becoming a mother, Sarah worked with professional athletes. I love her stories, like the one she shared about asking a professional hockey player – a captain and Stanley Cup champion who played for 21 years – how he managed to stay at the top level for so long.
“Recovery breaks. The young ones run through walls – but within a few years, they burn out,” answered the Olympian.
And this is really what this workshop is about:
Sarah’s work doesn’t emphasize calmness — instead, it calls you into clarity and to remain present for just a moment longer. Not from perfection, but from devotion. It’s about developing the capacity to allow the emotions moving within you to be fully expressed.
The space Sarah creates feels grounding and powerful to me. A place where you can return to yourself – not to deny growth, but to grow without exhaustion.
If this speaks to you – or to someone you support –
How do I know if I am healing? How can I truly tell whether I am walking the right path?
These questions return to me again and again.
I’ve spent much of my life concerned with how I use my time, wary of filling it with knowledge or pursuits that might not carry true meaning for me.
In my twenties, I felt a strong pull toward Western Astrology, and for a year I immersed myself in it—yet I did not continue. Years before, I had the urge to play an instrument. I studied violin for two years, then set it down. There are other examples, but what I wish to share is this: it may not make sense in the moment, it may appear to be failure or a false start—but with time, the bigger picture begins to reveal itself. Slowly, the pieces find their place.
When we look back, so much of what we call “success” or “failure” depends entirely on the perspective from which we see.
Just yesterday, I felt myself exactly where I wanted to be. My daughter was in the middle of a storm over her clothing, and instead of being swept into it, I chose silence. By staying quiet, I shifted the momentum of that moment. And in the space I left, her father stepped forward—calm, steady, grounded. My silence gave him room, and his presence gave me a renewal on my perspective.
It wasn’t the first time he has reminded me of what truly matters in the midst of chaos. This is why I find this moment so significant for me and for us as a family.
When one of us falters and the other holds steady—offering space, compassion, and connection instead of fear or control—something sacred opens. This is not about striving toward some final destination, some perfected self. Healing isn’t a straight path of improvement. There will always be new opportunities to soften, to expand, to deepen.
The heart of healing is learning to embody your truest self without shame. It’s arriving at a place where you see that nothing is broken, nothing needs fixing—only unfolding. And in that recognition, you can finally rest. Rest in what is. Rest in who you are. Rest in the presence of those around you.
From there, the world comes alive again. You begin to sense, to see, to touch life with beginner’s eyes—with the wonder of a child. You notice beauty even in difficulty, because you begin to recognize the hidden gifts of your shadows. You see that your fears and frustrations are not flaws, but echoes etched into your nervous system long ago—waiting to be unlocked, witnessed, and released.
The knowledge of the nervous system is simple to find. A quick search can give you the concepts. But the true work—the art—is in living it, in practicing it, in applying it in the heat of the moment.
This is why I love sitting with kindred souls, learning together, sharing tools that shape not just our own lives but the lives of our children. For if we care enough to learn, to heal, to soften, then what we pass on to them is no longer our unhealed weight, but our wisdom. This is the inheritance I wish to offer my daughter: a way of living, a set of tools, a deep knowing that emotional freedom is possible.
And if your heart longs for this kind of learning, for the nourishment of these good vibrations, then you are already on the path.
Come, to join us through a 3 day long free workshop, which will be in 2025. September 16, 18, 19. 12:00-1:30pm EST which is called Opting Out Of Urgency and my friend and mentor Sarah Tacy holds.
I rose from the drowned halls of a forgotten city, waves bow before my feet. currents of surrender, carry my scars to light,
I am the Daughter of Sun and Sea.
Now I speak, though oceans hid my voice, Now I see, though darkness veiled my eyes.
I call forth my strength, from the abyss, my legacy is eternal.
I call forth the medicine of grace, bearing the light of worlds. All that was once may sleep beneath the tides, but I awaken, radiant, alive, divine.
I was playing with the words above as I have been looking for an answer to the question of “How can I carry all that I wanna say?”
Poems are the language of the soul, and the wisdom traditions remind us that the soul is eternal. If that is true, then everything I have forgotten is encoded within me. Lately, I’ve been exploring my birth chart through Western Astrology, Human Design, and the Gene Keys, and the clarity these systems bring has truly blown my mind. I try to take it step by step, even though part of me longs to understand it all at once.
Somatic writing—the modality I will soon introduce—helps me ground myself and reconnect with the present moment.
Another ally in stabilizing myself is Sarah Tacy’s work, which I highly recommend to anyone seeking a gentle approach to nervous system healing. Her unique perspective on challenging topics like trauma offers deep healing through a profoundly nurturing approach.
Come, to meet her through a 3 day long free workshop, which will be in 2025. September 16, 18, 19. 12:00-1:30pm EST which is called Opting Out Of Urgency.

Sarah Tacy
I consider my discovery of Sarah Tacy to be a fortunate coincidence, much like other significant revelations in my life.
A serendipity!
Why?
As I recognize how intricately my past experiences have converged to lead me to my encounter with Sarah. Much like the wonders of Nature, the forces that brought us together in this realm of possibilities began their journey long before I was aware of it.
Allow me to explain!
In 2023, I participated in a course led by Kate Northrup, anticipating that I would gain insights into effective money management. This year marked the beginning of my quest for a deeper comprehension of how to navigate the intense emotions of my four-year-old daughter.
Now let me take you back in time even more.
Many years ago, while residing in New Zealand and caring for children, I had the chance to connect with a group of mothers. These women, after spending time at home with their children, were contemplating their next steps toward re-entering the professional world. Many of them realized that they did not wish to resume their careers from the point where they had left off due to childbirth.
Many of them were experiencing a dilemma and feeling a sense of chaos.
During that period, I found myself in a state of bliss, truly enjoying life on a stunning island in the Pacific Ocean. I was not only realizing one of my dreams by learning English but also relishing daily walks along the beach. Moreover, I was living this dream alongside the man I loved deeply.
Reflecting on this period of time, I recognize the significance of the lasting impressions from those years.
At that stage in my life, I was confident that I would be adequately prepared for the time when I would become a mother. Little did I know how far I was from the reality of motherhood, which brought both privilege and initiation.
I soon found myself navigating a form of chaos that marked the beginning of my awakening.
This experience prompted me to explore new modalities and solutions, much like the other mothers on Waiheke Island did in 2008.
Now back in 2023!
I was uncertain about what I would discover in Kate’s course. However, I quickly learned as a mother that it was essential to trust my instincts rather than solely rely on my intellect if I wanted to foster meaningful change in our family’s life. Thus, I began a journey that ultimately led me to Sarah.
While Kate provided me with valuable insights on managing finances, she also offered a fresh perspective on approaching my daily experiences through a profound understanding of the Nervous System.
I get to know Sarah through the Nervous System support calls she conducted for our group in Relaxed Money. The first moment on I was deeply inspired by the material she presented. Subsequently, I discovered that she hosts a podcast and subscribed to her email list, where I learned about her complimentary offering of the 21-day Nervous System Support program.
Once again, I was impressed by the depth and quality of the content she provided. The Nervous System Healing Calls with Sarah instilled in me a sense of hope and renewal.
She motivated me to pursue a journey of expanding my understanding of the Nervous System, trauma healing, and the practices of somatic experiencing.
As someone who identifies as an artist, I found that listening to Sarah’s teachings and insights consistently encouraged me to connect with my authentic self. Consequently, I was immediately drawn to her course titled Resourced, as it felt like an opportunity to reconnect with her in real time and delve into the essence of her wisdom through the program she created.
Having recently completed the 12+ week course, I feel revitalized and equipped with a wealth of resources for Nervous System support.
I have developed a stronger ability to ground myself when necessary, and I possess a deeper awareness of the inner world within me. As a yoga practitioner, enthusiast and teacher, I have learned to push beyond my limits; now, I can establish boundaries rather than merely erecting barriers.
I am beginning to recognize opportunities where I once perceived only obstacles.
With the blossoming of spring flowers, I truly sense that I am moving toward a more joyful and tranquil existence.
I feel that my purpose is becoming clearer with this newfound inner stability, as I recognize the significant need for support that has been lacking for many.
The initial step toward change begins with the acknowledgment of our ability to choose.
Only then can transformation occur. When you can identify the possibilities, you can make more thoughtful decisions about your circumstances.
After all, we are women, each of us embodying a profound strength: the power to be a sanctuary for the spark of creation.
Sarah will lead a FREE, 3-day nervous system workshop called Opting Out of Urgency in 2025. If you like, you could listen our conversation on my podcast on Closer to the Sun.
My Name is Viktória Julianna, mother of Anna Kincső (means treasure), daughter of Anna Erzsébet, granddaughter of Anna and Margit, greath-granddaughter of Erzsébet and Anna.
Great-great-granddaughter of Gertrúd, Erzsébet, Jozefin and Julianna. Katalin, Anna, Erzsébet, Julianna, Rebeka, Borbála, Anna és Zsuzsanna are my great-great Grandmothers mother’s name. And I know two of the names of the many of my lineage after them which is: Katalin és Veronika. All these womans came from my mother’s side. From my father’s side I only know my grandmother name. As I grow up I was as lucky that I have heard stories about my great-grandparents from my mother’s mother.
So today – as I rember my ancestors – I look into our family tree -, I feel all these 64 woman’s strenght behind me, and the blessing that I can hold my daughter’s hand. As I stand in between them I grant them with my heartfelt gratitude. 18 of them by having the gift of saying their names and to the rest with a rememberance in my heart and with a silent bow.
The healing work I do (and re-do) on myself is my gift to the generations behind me and to those in front of me.
My daughter is almost six years old and I have beeen studiing about many modalities of healing art for over twety years. This inner search made me able to stand here today. Now I understand myself better, as I understand my Nervous System better. Now I am able to take care of my daughter with much more resiliency, love and compassion.
I was a yoga and meditation teacher before my daughter was born. Now I am working on finding my way back to the upper world holding a quest dearly in my heart: “Who I really am”? I feel now the hardest part in behind, but I am aware that so much more is on my way. However as I develop more and more Jaguar strenght in my energy field the fear in me is less and less.
I feel so deeply humbled. I sense today’s energies. I light a candle and I say a prayer.
I have a great wonderful talk with Katie Dove last week in my podcast Closer to the Sun!
In this podcast I make interviews with people who live their life by following their hearts. Together we share our most memorable moments, the highs and the lows. By our honesty makes our journey a sacread one. Come Closer to the Sun with us!
“I really believe in that what ment to be ours will find us.”
My wonderful healing journey started in the end of 2023, when I was gifted the corse of Inhibit the Heart with Katie Dove. The transformation of gaining a new perspective on experiencing my heart and regulating my nervous system has begun.
In this course Katie was teaching about the fluid nervous system. A totally new idea for me. She was telling us the most engageing story about how the heart forms in our mother’s womb. She was sharing her knowledgye on Anatomy, Embryology, and Evolutionary Biology in a most understandable and apprehensivable way.
Katie is a wonderful healer who has the ability to suspend time and teach in the online space in a way like you are sitting by her side. She has a joyful presence which uplifts and a loving gaze which connects heart to heart.
I am ever grateful, that my good furtune led me to find her.
My journey with Katie started last year after that I’d found an episode with her on Kimberly Ann Johnson’s podcast. Since I went through the Inhibit the Heart course, I’ve done The Full Arc, which includes the courses: “Source Regulation” and “The Wilder Field”. Right now we have been comming to a close of her 9 mounth long aprenticeship program: “The Spiritual Nervous System”.
I am in the process of integration of all what has been shared. I am learning to visualize and somatize in a brand new way.
I feel my time with Katie has been blessed by that magical relam to which one can gain an access by the tools Katie so skillfully shares. For me Anatomy is a field which either bores or fascinates me, it depends who presents it. As I hear Katie talk about the most complex concepts I feel enchanted like a child listens a fairy tale.
Katie sais: “The true alchemist is the heart. We can alchemize our feelings through our heart, because the heart does not label, does not see things through duality.”
By learning to inhibit our heart we create our world around us from a space of emotional freedom. And this way we uplift not just ourselves but others as well.
Katie gifted me not just with the amazing opportunity of studiing from her but with the inspiration of developing my own toolset of Emotional Alchemy as well. And with this, she gave me the greatest present one can get as a Mother! These days I am more grounded and more conscious and because of this my child is much happier and we have more peace at home.
